NEWSFLASH: 05-08-02

Word has come down from on high(i.e. the Spurs' PR office) that we will be singing the national anthem this Friday 5/10/02 for Game 3 of the Spurs' 2nd Round Best-of-Seven series against the Shaq, Kobe and the hated LA Lakers, at the Alamodome. Game time is 8:30 p.m., though that could wind up being slightly later depending on the earlier NBA game, as well as Tim Ducan's MVP award ceremony. So keep an an eye out for us on TNT just prior to 8:30... and viva Spurs!

I have been in touch with The SPURS the last few days and they have given us the choice of performing at the second game of the first round or a game in the second round. Being that the second round will be more of a heightened playoff atmosphere, and more likely to have sold out crowds, we have decided to make a second round appearance. I will update the website with the exact game date as soon as it is secured. The PLAYOFFs start this weekend April 20,2002.

NEWSFLASH: 04-16-02

In case you haven't noticed it being mentioned on the News page, we are slated to croon the national anthem at the second game of the beloved San Antonio Spurs' first round playoff series, which should get under way this weekend at the Alamodome. If you're tuning in early to catch the game be sure to keep an eye out, we just might get our 15 minutes of fame and wouldn't want any of you to miss it. Of course we'll be hanging around for the game, I might even ask Pop if he needs me to suit up... but either way,
