This day was hard for me personally as I had a memorial to attend only four hours after I got to bed from the previous night. Brandon Elhert, a waiter and supervisor at the Tin Roof Steakhouse in Boerne, a regular customer of Sherlock's Pub in San Antonio and a friend to me and my family tragically lost his life only a few miles away from Sherlock's on 1604 this past Tuesday morning. So many were in attendance to his memorial and I tried my best to not let it zap any of my energy for the show on this night but it was hard. I had tried many times to get Brandon to come out and see us play and he never made it out. Brandon and I thought this weekend would be the first time that he would be able to make it out. Sadly, he never did get to see us perform. Rest in peace my friend.
