For the last couple of years, Friday nights in downtown Fort Worth are slower than Saturday nights. That’s just the way it is, and so when it comes to playing LONE STAR in Sundance Square in the heart of lovely downtown Fort Worth, we would rather play on a Saturday than a Friday. But things don’t always work out that way and we would rather give LONE STAR a Friday night than nothing at all. One of the reasons for that are the folks that work at this venue are simply put, really cool. Like our good friend Bobby Lee, the House Sound Engineer. The guy is extremely knowledgeable and is a hell of a nice guy. Funny too… We had a decent sized crowd for a Friday night and we had a good time with all the fans who made it out to see us. We even had a couple of friends that made the trek from Oklahoma City to come see us play and will be coming out to see us at our following show on Saturday.
