At a time when our country is remembering the events, the tragedy and heroes of 9/11 in great detail, I found myself getting into the spirit of it all. I found myself spending time watching some of the media on TV. The memorial of the “WALL OF NAMES” in Shanksville, PA was a very moving experience. President Bush, President Clinton and Vice-President Joe Biden’s words were amazing to me and so eloquent and passionate. I am proud to be American. 30 minutes later I found myself in the car on the way to a Cook Out held in our honor and several people were invited to this party. It made me personally feel like we all owe a debt of gratitude to the people who have given their lives in the name of Freedom and know the difference of right & wrong. Our good friend and comrade Mitch Hicks went out of his way to cook for us and Mike & Rhonda Manning opened their home for the event to take place. It is right for us to remember our fellow Americans who gave of themselves so that we can enjoy our God given right to freedom and this cook out was a small symbol of that. We thank Mitch, Mike & Rhonda and all involved who made it possible. God Bless them, our fellow Americans and our Country.
