William Shatner's Album
"Seeking Major Tom".
In February of 2010, I (Brent Fields) was hired by Adam Hamilton a producer and drummer I have known for many years and William Shatner, that’s right I said William Shatner from Star Trek, Boston Legal, etc.., to record a song for an album he was producing. The song I was asked to deliver was a remake of Thomas Dolby’s 80’s hit called “She Blinded Me With Science”. I was excited to be doing this for such an icon in the film and television history. There are so many top artists working with him on this album. The album features many guest artists including Sheryl Crow, Peter Frampton, Steve Miller, Bootsy Collins, and others. I finished my work in September of 2010 and was very happy with the work, as was the Executive Producer Adam Hamilton out in Los Angeles, CA and Shatner himself. Bootsy Collins is on the track and it is pure fun!
The album was released last week and already has done something for Shatner that he has never done before. The album has hit #1 on Billboard’s Album chart. As a matter of fact, it debuted at #1. It’s amazing and I am all happy to be a part of it. Thanks go out to my good friend Adam Hamilton and to Bill Shatner as well. Be sure to check back to our website for further developments…

CHRISTI RICHMOND Birthday Celebration
in Oklahoma City, OK
This particular Saturday evening the band was booked to perform for a birthday celebration in Oklahoma City for a good friend of the band named Christi Richmond. What an honor it was to play this event. Not only to celebrate the life of a close friend of ours but to see so many of our mutual friends that were able to make the event. In addition to meet some folks that we have never had an opportunity to meet at all like Christi’s Grandmother Sue, who is as precious as can be. The event was held at The lovely WILL ROGERS THEATER, where we have played before a few years ago and it was such a personal show for us, and we were having such a great time that we really wanted to keep going. Happy Birthday, Christi – We love you!

The GLASS CACTUS
in Grapevine, TX
When you’re in a band like The KLOCKS there are certain shows you get the chance to play that really are a tremendous amount of fun and The GLASS CACTUS is certainly one of them. Now add a HARLEY DAVIDSON PARTY in the mix and you find yourself in a party that was taken to an all new level you didn’t know existed. Simply put, this night kicked butt. We had so much fun during the show. The crowd loved the band and we loved the crowd, and the crowd loved us for loving them and we loved the crowd for loving us! And we loved each other. And that's because none of us got enough love in our childhoods. And that's showbiz, KID! Even if Mr. Celophane was on stage with us on this night - you'ld notice him.
We probably could have played another set and the crowd would have stayed to party through it all. Thanks go out to David Hilario for the photography and cinematography duties, and thanks to all our loyal fans and friends who made it out to be with us. Kudos to the staff at GC for all the help and efforts of there many talented individuals behind the scenes. One last shout out - to Jack Adams and Colleen Joyce. Thanks, you two.
I hope I haven't taken up too much of your time...

ST. LUKE's CATHOLIC CHURCH SCHOOL
in San Antonio, TX
Every year The KLOCKS are asked if we would be able to perform a show at a reduced cost or even for free. Usually the question comes from worthy organizations and we would love to be able to do perform for them all but unfortunately we cannot. So, we have to choose which situations are right for our hearts and minds. Our heart strings get pulled fairly hard when it comes to children. This week on Tuesday we performed for the kids at ST. LUKE’s CATHOLIC CHURCH SCHOOL in San Antonio and we had so much fun seeing the eyes of all the kids light up at the mere presence of the equipment being set up in their gymnasium. We played for an hour and everyone had such a great time. We would like to thank Principal Salazar and her entire staff for treating us so very well. We hope to play this event again soon…

REFLECTIONS in Arlington, TX
The last time we played at this venue the crowd was very small and so when we arrived on this particular night we were understandably concerned that we might have another night like the last. We were worrying about something when we didn’t need to as we had a really good crowd before we even started. The girls from OKC that came into town to see us play for the weekend came out once again – thank you ladies! We also found out that a couple of girls from Fort Smith, Arkansas and Pocola, Oklahoma decided to come down and see us as well. The night was really fun and we had a blast. And just like that, the night was over. Thanks go out to Pam L and Pam C for working through the tough stuff. We also have to give a shout out to Bob Foster with Scorpio Entertainment. Thanks, Bob! We will see everyone at Reflections soon!
